Specialist 3D Machining

Investment in computerised programing systems along with high speed contouring CNC machinery enables Belmont to offer a specialist service in 3D machining. Virtually any shape can be machined to your solid model file, or drawing.

Our latest investment in a Doosan DNM 500 machining centre with ultra-high speed contouring capability enables 3D machining techniques to be used effectively on production work, rather than just prototyping as has traditionally been the case. We are now able to 3D machine components where casting would previously have been the only option.

We use both OneCNC and the Visi-CAM series software to program efficient tool paths in the minimum of time, meaning a more cost effective solution for our customers.

Manufacture from any model format

We can read your solid model files or drawing and produce components with full 3 dimensional surfaces cost effectively, in batch quantities; not just one-off.

Our CAM systems will read all current file formats, IGES, STEP, DXF, Rhino, Solidworks etc., but if you only have a concept (no model file or drawings), we can help by producing both.
